A Comparison of Prokaryotic Thermophile Community Structure and Coastal Infrastructure Development

This paper looks to connect architectural concepts with cellular biology. Through this work, I analyze the cellular components that create the coloration of the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA. I connect these concepts to structures used for developing flood protection in New Orleans, Louisiana. This paper was the culminating project in the "Principles of Cell Biology" course taught by Dr. Robert Morris. Thank you to Dr. Morris and my peers in the class for helping me along the way.
